now faded into by-elections
many misdeeds of the present

(revolutionaries seen by day
to be marching and flag-waving
woman and child abusers
under the cover of night)

Once were warriors
freedom fighters and
of the downtrodden people
selflessly representing

Once were warriors
in your own image
now you demand
blind faith and loyalty
